About

Hi, I'm Gustavo, designer, maker, and founder of this brand.

I created Gustavo Neri Clothing out of something very personal: the frustration of not finding shirts that felt like me.

Sewing runs in my family. My grandmother still sews today, and she always tells me about her father, who was a tailor. I didn't grow up thinking I'd follow that path, but looking back, maybe it was always there, waiting.

Working in restaurants, I wore the same basic shirts every day: safe, neutral, forgettable. I wanted more.

I wanted color, culture, intention. So I decided to make it myself. What started as one shirt, made in July 2021, turned into a vision I haven't stopped chasing since.

Today, I still work in restaurants while I build this brand on the side, one shirt, one order, one customer at a time. Every piece is designed and crafted in small batches from my studio in Vancouver, using premium materials and tropical inspiration. Always made to order, treating each piece with care.

One day, I want this to be my full-time work. Until then, every hour I put into Gustavo Neri Clothing is an hour spent on something I actually believe in.

My mission is to create premium shirts that combine storytelling, culture, and timeless design for men who want to express confidence, individuality, and depth.

My Values

Passion

I put love, energy, and purpose into every detail.

Quality

I use long-lasting materials and refined finishes, made to last and feel good.

People First

I care about how each piece is made, and how it makes you feel when you wear it.

Why Brazil Stays With Me

Brazil isn't just where I'm from. It's part of how I see everything; color, design, the way things feel.

No matter where I am, that stays with me. It shows up in the way I choose a palette, the way I think about a silhouette, the way I believe clothing should make you feel something, not just cover you.

I didn't move to Vancouver and leave that behind. I brought it with me, and I put it into every shirt I make.

If this story resonates with you, I'd love for you to see what it became.
